Applying Transition Effects in PowerPoint
Introduction
You've seen slide transitions if you've ever seen a PowerPoint presentation with special effects between each slide. A transition can be as simple as fading to the next slide or as elaborate as a flashy effect. Transitions are simple to add to some or all of your slides in PowerPoint, giving your presentation a polished, professional appearance.About transitions

These are the most fundamental transitions. To transition between slides, they employ simple animations.Exciting
These transition between slides with more complex animations. While they are more visually appealing than Subtle transitions, using too many of them can make your presentation appear unprofessional. When used sparingly, however, they can add a nice touch between important slides.
Dynamic Content
When transitioning between two slides with similar slide layouts, dynamic transitions will only move the placeholders and not the slides themselves. Dynamic transitions, when used correctly, can help unify your slides and add a level of polish to your presentation.
To apply a transition
- From the Slide Navigation pane, select the desired slide. This will be the slide that appears after the transition.
- Navigate to the Transitions tab, then to the Transition to This Slide group. By default, none is applied to every slide. To see all transitions, select More from the drop-down menu.
- Click a transition to apply it to the slide you've chosen. The transition will be automatically preview.
- You can preview the transition for a specific slide at any time by using one of two methods:
- On the Transitions tab, select the Preview command.
- In the Slide Navigation pane, select the Play Animations command.
To modify the transition effect
- You can quickly change the direction of a transition to change its appearance.
- Select the slide that has the desired transition.
- Select the desired option by clicking the Effect Options command. These options will vary depending on the transition chosen.
- The transition will be changed, and a preview of it will appear.
